Hi, I’m Melissa—a self-taught metalsmith and jewelry maker based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. As a busy mom of three who homeschools her children, my work as a metalsmith is both a creative outlet and a labor of love. It allows me to balance my passion for artistry with my devotion to family and faith.

My journey into jewelry making began in 2010, shortly after I became a mom. What started as a hobby creating beadwork and hand-stamped designs quickly grew into a passion for crafting meaningful, wearable art. Over the years, I’ve delved deeper into the world of metalsmithing, teaching myself new techniques and experimenting with materials to bring my ideas to life.

Today, I specialize in creating custom, handcrafted pieces that are as unique as the people who wear them. I primarily work with sterling silver, but I also love incorporating touches of gold, brass, and copper into my designs. Many of my pieces are made to order, ensuring they reflect each customer’s vision, whether it’s a personalized bangle, a birthstone ring, or a one-of-a-kind request.

Each piece is thoughtfully crafted in my cozy home studio, where no detail is too small. From designing and polishing to the final finishing touches, I pour my heart into every step of the process. My goal is to create jewelry that feels personal and timeless—pieces you’ll cherish for years to come.

When I’m not at my workbench, you’ll often find me outdoors with my family, working towards our dream of building a hobby farm. Whether we’re raising animals or simply enjoying nature, we love spending time together and making memories.
